Terms & Conditions

 PRICES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

  • Our current prices are stated in the applicable price list.
  • Payment is made by invoice with 15 days payment terms.
  • Invoices are sent by email to the address provided by the client, unless otherwise agreed.

RIVIERA FRIENDS reserves the right to invoice parking fees, road tolls, and other additional costs, associated with our services, provided that the client has been consulted and agreed in advance.

BOOKINGS VIA BOOKING.COM, AIRBNB OR OTHER PLATFORMS

  • For bookings or assignments linked to rentals through Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms , the respective platform’s booking and cancellation terms also apply.
  • Cancellations and modifications follow the policy stated on each platform (flexible, moderate, strict).
  • Any refunds or compensations are handled according to the platform’s rules, unless otherwise agreed in writing with RIVIERA FRIENDS.
  • RIVIERA FRIENDS is not responsible for disputes between client/guest and the platform.

INSURANCE

  • The client is responsible for having a valid insurance (e.g., home insurance) that covers common damages to the property and Rental Cover.
  • For rentals via Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms, the property is also covered by the platform’s host protection or guarantee according to their terms.
  • RIVIERA FRIENDS holds its own business insurance.

DAMAGES

  • In case of damages to the property or its contents (e.g., flooring, appliances, furniture etc), these are primarily documented together with the client.
  • If necessary, an independent expert may be consulted to assess the extent and cause of the damage.
  • If it is established that the damage was caused by RIVIERA FRIENDS, the client will naturally be compensated.
  • For rentals via Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms, guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay, according to platform rules. RIVIERA FRIENDS is only liable for damages directly caused by our staff. We will of course work hand in hand with you to help in any resolution process.

DEDUCTIONS AND REFUNDS

  • No deductions on invoices may be made without prior written approval from RIVIERA FRIENDS.
  • Compensation for damages is paid to the client’s bank account or deducted from a later invoice.
  • If the client is dissatisfied with the services performed, they are entitled to terminate the agreement with immediate effect. However, the client must pay for services already delivered.
  • No compensation is provided for the client’s own materials or equipment used, except in cases of gross negligence by RIVIERA FRIENDS.
  • If the client’s own equipment is used during an assignment, the client is responsible for ensuring it is in proper working condition.

LAUNDRY AND LINEN POLICY

Linen and towels are provided by the client/owner. RIVIERA FRIENDS is responsible for laundry and handling in connection with rentals.

  • Normal wear and tear is considered part of the natural lifespan of the linens and is not covered by RIVIERA FRIENDS.
  • Permanent stains or damage (e.g., from wine, cosmetics, hair dye, oils, bleach, etc.) that cannot be removed through standard laundering will be charged to the guest or deducted from their security deposit.
  • Loss or severe damage to linens or towels will be reimbursed by the guest at the actual replacement cost.
  • If damage occurs during the laundry process carried out by the concierge company or an appointed laundry service, RIVIERA FRIENDS assumes responsibility.

BOOKING CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Any changes to bookings must always be approved by RIVIERA FRIENDS.
  • Cancellations must be made by email (riviera-friends@info.fr) at least 7 days before the scheduled service.
  • For bookings via Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms, the respective platform’s cancellation policy applies.

EARLY TERMINATION

RIVIERA FRIENDS has the right to terminate an agreement with immediate effect if:

  • The client fails to pay invoices,
  • The workplace is unsafe for staff,
  • Staff are subjected to offensive treatment, threats, violence, or other improper conduct by the client.

FORCE MAJEURE

  • Neither RIVIERA FRIENDS nor the client is liable for delays or missed services caused by circumstances beyond the parties’ control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government decisions).
  • For bookings via Booking.com, Airbnb or other platforms, their rules for extraordinary events also apply.
